FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Yes. All modules are free to use, without payment details and without a trial period. You can invite BitGuard right away.
All modules stay free with generous limits, for example 5 reaction role panels, 10 custom commands, 3 automations and 3 ticket panels. Premium raises these limits and unlocks extras: custom designs for rank and welcome cards, ticket ratings and statistics, bonus entries in giveaways, faster social alerts and the bot personalizer. Premium is currently in a trial phase and is granted for free to partners. When Premium ends, nothing is deleted.
Click "Invite bot", pick your server, open the dashboard and switch on the modules you need. You need the "Manage Server" permission on that server.
No Administrator permission. When you invite it, the bot only asks for what its modules need, such as "Manage Messages" for AutoMod or "View Audit Log" for anti-nuke. Make sure the BitGuard role sits above the roles it should hand out or moderate.
BitGuard stores what the modules you enable need: your settings, user IDs for leveling, economy and warnings, activity counters for server statistics and, for tickets, a transcript with the message content. Every type of data has a fixed retention period, after which the bot deletes it automatically. 30 days after the bot is removed, all data of your server is gone. In the dashboard you can export everything, and the server owner can delete everything immediately. Our servers are located in Germany, we do not sell or share any data. Discord itself also processes data in the USA.
The bot replies in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian, you choose the language per server in the dashboard. The website and dashboard are available in English, German, French and Spanish.
